Amrit Science Campus (ASCOL)

Amrit Science Campus (ASCOL), located in Lainchaur, Kathmandu, is one of the leading science campuses in Nepal under Tribhuvan University. Established in 1962 A.D. (2019 B.S.) and named in honor of Late Mr. Amrit Prasad Pradhan, the first Nepali science professor, ASCOL has played a vital role in promoting higher education in science and technology. The campus offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs in subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Mathematics, Statistics, Environmental Science, and Computer Science. Scholarship

ASCOL Campus offers different types of scholarships for eligible students. Scholarships may be available for students from Government Schools, Madhesi, Janajati, Tharu, Persons with Disabilities (Apanga), and Economically Disadvantaged (Bipanna Barga) backgrounds. Students who perform well in semester or yearly examinations may also receive topper scholarships. Depending on the scholarship category and eligibility, students may receive a upto 95% scholarship or a certain amount of financial support. Scholarship availability and eligibility may vary depending on the course and campus policy.
