Mechi Multiple Campus (MMC)

Mechi Multiple Campus (MMC) is one of the most trusted government campuses in eastern Nepal, known for its quality education under Tribhuvan University. Established in 1964 (2021 BS), it is the only constituent campus of Tribhuvan University in Bhadrapur, Jhapa district, serving as a key center of higher education in the eastern region. The campus offers a wide range of bachelor and master’s level programs in humanities, management, and science, including BA, BBS, BBA, BCA, BSW, BSc, BSc CSIT, MA, and MBS. As a government campus, MMC is QAA accredited by the University Grants Commission (UGC) Nepal and is committed to providing quality education at an affordable fee structure, backed by experienced faculty and facilities like a library, computer lab, and sports ground, making it one of the most reliable choices for higher education in eastern Nepal.

Document required for Admission

  1. Passport-size photo (up to 5 copies)
  2. SEE/SLC: Grade Sheet/Marksheet, Provisional Certificate, and Character Certificate
  3. 10+2: Transcript/Marksheet, Provisional Certificate, Character Certificate, and Original Migration Certificate
  4. Bachelor (for Master’s admission): Transcript, Provisional Certificate, Character Certificate, and Original Migration Certificate
  5. Entrance Exam: Admit Card or Score Card

Note: You need to submit two photocopies of the above document.

Admission Criteria

For BBA & BITM

  • Admission is based on the merit list.
  • The merit list is calculated as follows:
    • 60% – CMAT Score
    • 30% – Plus Two / Equivalent Marks
    • 10% – Interview

For BCA

Admission will be based on the merit list according to the respective campus rules.

For BSCSIT

Admission will be based on the merit list as per Tribhuvan University (TU) admission rules.

For BBS,BA,BASW,BSC

Admission will be based on a first-come, first-served basis

For MBS & MA

  • Admission is based on the merit list.
  • The merit list is calculated as follows:
    • Group discussion
    • Individual presentation
    • Personal interview

Scholarship

Mechi Multiple Campus offers different types of scholarships for eligible students. Scholarships may be available for students from Government Schools, Madhesi, Janajati, Tharu, Persons with Disabilities (Apanga), and Economically Disadvantaged (Bipanna Barga) backgrounds. Students who perform well in semester or yearly examinations may also receive topper scholarships. Depending on the scholarship category and eligibility, students may receive a upto 95% scholarship or a certain amount of financial support. Scholarship availability and eligibility may vary depending on the course and campus policy.
